UPDF soldier arrested for impersonating URA officers
The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) law enforcement officials and the UPDF have apprehended a one David Okurut for allegedly impersonating the tax collection agency. Okurut, who is reportedly an army deserter, was arrested on 2nd February 2022, while impersonating a URA officer and extorting money from unsuspecting victims in parts of eastern Uganda.
