UBOS promises to pay all enumerators and service providers
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics has pledged to pay all enumerators and service providers owed money by the end of August 2024. This commitment follows numerous complaints from enumerators regarding delayed payments.The Bureau has cited several reasons for the payment delays, including name mismatches, loss of census equipment, and delays in the submission of names by local governments where the enumerators are employed.
