Transport fares upcountry double, operators blame high fuel costs
With Christmas just a day away, bus operators have hiked the transport fares to upcountry destinations blaming the high cost of fuel. This comes barely three weeks after the works and transport minister Gen. Katumba Wamala warned that this would be done with consultation or they risk losing their route charts.
