Tensions rise near Uganda–South Sudan border after recent attacks
A Kenyan national has been killed in an ambush by armed attackers in Morobo County, South Sudan’s Central Equatoria State. Thursday’s ambush occurred amid a volatile security situation in areas near the Uganda–South Sudan border. On Monday, Ugandan forces repulsed a group of armed men who had entered Uganda through Kochi Sub-county in Yumbe District.
