Soroti fruit factory farmers say they are yet to benefit from fruit processing project
Farmers in the Soroti region have revealed to members of parliament that they have not yet benefited from the 41 billion Soroti fruit factory, as intended at its inception in 2016. Among the complaints, farmers say that the factory has failed to provide the necessary market for their outputs, and offers low price rates for their agricultural products.
