Rubanda residents urge government aid after heavy rains damage roads
Rubanda District residents have called for emergency government funding after heavy rains caused extensive road damage, isolating several areas. The hilly terrain of the Kigezi Sub-region has worsened the situation, with water from upstream eroding roads, particularly in Bufundi Sub-county, where 20 kilometers of roads are in a sorry state. They emphasized the lack of resources to repair the roads and urgently requested government assistance.
