PRISON CONDITIONS: MPs upset that juveniles, adults detained together
Members of Parliament on the security committee have expressed concern about the congestion of prisoners in Bunyangabu and Kabarole districts. While on a tour of prisons in these areas, the legislators observed that the congestion of prisoners puts their lives at risk. Claims of torture by prisoners also raised concern among the legislators.
