President Museveni, two others cleared on day one of presidential nominations
Three Military Generals will contest the presidency next January. This after Yoweri Museveni, Henry Tumukunde and Gregory Mugisha Muntu were cleared to be candidates by the electoral commission. From securing the country’s future to promising a new capture and era and a new beginning for the country, the three candidates have sought out the trust of the electorate. However, the day also saw Nancy Kalembe and John Katumba's dreams of being declared candidates halted after they failed to bank official 20 million nomination fees.
