Pharmaceutical company donates drugs to hospitals
Cipla Quality Chemicals has partnered with faith-based organizations through the Joint medical stores, to donate over 25000 doses of its new painkiller CiplaDon. Cipla says the drug is twice as fast as available paracetamol on the market and can act as a pain reliever for Covid-19 patients. This is part of the drug manufacturer's efforts to aid the fight against covid-19. Some of the Hospitals that will receive the donation worth 10 million shillings include Rubaga Hospital, Mengo Hospital, and Nagalama Hospital.
