Parliament to investigate alleged misappropriation of emyooga funds
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has suspended the House sittings for 7 days starting Monday, to allow legislators to investigate the implementation of the Emyooga progamme, an initiative to eradicate poverty in the country. This follows numerous public complaints to the speaker about misappropriation and irregularities in the disbursement of the funds.
