Parliament honours late Teso paramount chief
The welfare of cultural leaders took centre stage as parliament paid tribute to the late Paramount Chief of Teso Papa Augustine Osuban Lemukol. MPs from Teso said government has failed to honour its pledge of building the cultural leader a house. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja revealed that government is considering the proposal for a monthly contribution of 60 million shillings to each cultural institution.
