Opposition questions UGX 72 trillion allocation
Today, the finance minister, Matia Kasaija, read the 2025/26 budget during a ceremony at Kololo ceremonial grounds. However, the opposition says the 72 trillion shillings budget does not reflect the economy's current state. The country is drowning in debt and facing other challenges that leave the average citizen worried about what the future holds. Joan Salmon reports.
