OMICRON VARIANT: EAC says health experts will advise on safety measures
The East African Community says it has made efforts to prevent the entry and spread of the COVID-19 variant Omicron in the region. The EAC chairperson of the council of ministers Adan Muhammad, who is also Kenya’s minister for EAC Affairs, says a team of health experts in each partner state have been assembled to track the variant.
