New digital plates will be rolled out in November
The government has insisted on the deadline to roll out digital number plates starting November 1st - 2023. Government vehicles will be the first cohort to receive the new license plates. The decision was the outcome of a meeting on Wednesday between Kampala City Traders Association KACITA and Ministers Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi and Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala.
