Mpuuga pushes for electoral reforms and youth MP positions
Mathias Mpuuga, the Nyendo-Mukungwe Member of Parliament, says he will take the lead in calling for electoral reforms in the country. He says he wants to see more youth MP positions created. The MP, who is facing corruption accusations over the 500 million shillings he received from the Parliamentary Commission as a service award, says he wants contradictions in the decentralization system to be addressed so that more resources go to local governments.
