MPs upset that Soroti juice factory is not profitable
MPs on the house trade committee today learnt that Soroti Fruit Factory, in which the government has invested over 40 billion shillings, is not profitable. The MPs today interfaced with the managers of the factory, officials from Uganda Development Corporation and Naads over alleged mismanagement of the factory. However, the Managers cited political interference among the challenges they are facing.
