Moroto prison break mastermind arrested
Police in Karamoja Sub Region have arrested a man suspected to be the mastermind in the September 2020 escape at Moroto government prison where 224 inmates escaped with 15 guns. Michael Moore was arrested following a tip-off. Since the prison break, a joint security manhunt was launched and 10 prisoners have been rearrested.
