Minister encourages Ugandans to embrace technology
The Minister of State for Privatisation and Investment, Evelyn Anite, has encouraged Ugandans to utilise technology and innovation to bridge the country's growing digital divide. Minister Anite made these comments while unveiling the 'One Student, One Laptop' initiative, named "Bbala," in Kampala. This initiative is designed to offer students, teachers, and higher education institutions access to high-performance laptops through a subscription-based system.
