LOP demands debate on fuel crisis
The Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga has written to Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah asking him to urgently recall parliament from recess to discuss the spike in the oil prices. Mpuuga says parliament must give policy direction to the ongoing crisis. However, Government Chief Thomas Tayebwa says recalling parliament for this purpose is unnecessary.
