Lands Minister reassures Nabisunsa administrators on land wrangle
The Nabisunsa girls secondary school community have welcomed assurances from the Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba over the ownership of a contested part of the school land. Minister Nabakooba says verified land records disproved any other interest in the school by other people as stated by the Uganda Land Commission. The assurances followed concerns by the Muslim community about possible eviction of the 67-year-old institution of learning from a section of the Banda hill land in the Nakawa division.
