Kasese residents urged to report cases of domestic violence
Stakeholders in the Justice system are appealing to members of the community in Kasese district to always provide information to enable them to conclusively prosecute cases of violence against women and girls. The High court in Kasese has concluded hearing 55 cases of gender-based violence where 44 people received prison sentences, seven were remanded and two were dismissed.
