Kabaka Mutebi II marks his 28th coronation anniversary
The Kingdom of Buganda has asked the central government to go slow on the issue of the mailo land reform. Buganda Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga said that Uganda’s land problems do not stem from the mailo land tenure system but rather from the inactive laws. Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the second refuted allegations that Buganda has intentions to break away from the rest of Uganda. They spoke at the Kabaka's 28th coronation anniversary celebration held at Nkoni in Lwengo district.
