IRCU engages local leaders over 2021 elections
The inter religious council of Uganda has started engaging the religious leaders, security and civil society from 5 regions of Busoga, Bukedi, Bugisu,Sebei, Teso and Karamoja on the free and fair election during and after elections arguing that they have discovered that there is a lot of election violence and intimidation during the campaigns and they are worried that this might affect the voter turn up and violence can continue after elections.
