IGP Okoth Ochola retires 49 senior police officers
The Inspector-General of Police today formally retired 49 police officers, including 6 of his former Deputies. However, 5 of the 6 deputies; AIGP Grace Turyagumanawe, Godfrey Bangirana, Asuman Mugenyi, Steven Kasiima and Lemmy Twinomugisha did not turn up for the function at the force's headquarters at Naguru. The IGP cautioned the retirees to remain exemplary even after the conclusion of their service to the police force.
