Health Ministry launches community extension programme
The Ministry of Health, in partnership with The AIDS Support Organisation and the Koboko local government, has launched the Community Health Extension Workers Programme to address the high disease burden and the critical shortage of health professionals, as well as to improve equitable access to health services in Uganda. Health Ministry officials are passing out a group of Community Health Extension Workers in Koboko, and Rashul Adidi has the details.
