Government urges refugee-led organizations to promote cohesion, development
The government has urged refugee-led organizations and partners to champion and promote social cohesion and economic development between refugees and host communities. The call was made during a high-level dialogue in Kampala, aimed at aligning the country's refugee policy with Uganda's national development priorities. Meanwhile, stakeholders representing refugee-led organizations have called for meaningful participation in issues relating to refugee matters.
