Experts warn of unchecked population growth
Experts have called on the government to control rapid population growth and create alternative sources of income for the populace. The experts who met in Kampala in a dialogue on population dynamics gender, health and climate connection said that the more the people, the more they exert pressure on the ecosystem. It is estimated that Uganda’s population will be 165 million people by 2050.
