Ethnicity-based eviction order issued in Apaa township amid rising tensions
The army has ordered all individuals who are not of Madi and Acholi ethnicity to leave Apaa Township in Amuru district with immediate effect. Brigadier General Michael Kabango, the Commander of the fourth division infantry barracks, stated that they have information suggesting that non-natives are exacerbating conflicts in the long-contested area.
