Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has updated parliament that Speaker Jacob Oulanyah is positively responding to treatment in US.
Meanwhile, prayers were held in Gulu for the quick recovery of the Speaker.
Religious leaders urged Ugandans to pray for Oulanyah instead of politicking about expenditure for treating him.
