KCCA urged to enforce traffic rules
The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has been urged to enforce traffic rules in the city if the new modern roads are to be well maintained and used. This comes at a time when a number of street vendors are selling merchandise from the newly constructed pedestrian walkways, street kids using the bridges as their safe haven, and motorists like bodaboda riders violating traffic rules especially traffic lights causing congestion and commotion along roads.
The call was made by the Ministry of Works Transport while handing over the first phase of the Kampala flyover project .
