Police quell bomb scare in Wakiso
The police have intervened to end tension in Lukwanga Ward in Bulenga, Wakiso District, after residents suspected that an industrial bomb was being made. Security officials cordoned off the house and commenced a search using sniffer dogs and other implements. Although nothing was found, Deputy Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire says the security agencies are continuing to monitor the house.
