Deo Akope wins ABSA Uganda Golf Club Captains Bell Tournament
Veteran golfer Deo Akope is the winner of this year's ABSA Uganda Golf Club Captains Bell Professionals Tournament, following four rounds of competition that teed off on Wednesday this week. Akope returned an eleven-under score to beat second-placed Grace Kasango and Philip Kasozi. The event, which climaxed today with the subsidiaries tournament, also saw National team captain Joseph Cwinyaai clinch the gross amateurs division, while Peace Kabasweka secured victory in the ladies' category.
