IGAD member states devise means to jointly fight diseases
The IGAD member states are seeking a collaborative effort to address health challenges within the region. Member states continue to face issues such as increasing HIV infections, poor maternal and child care, as well as teenage pregnancies, among others.IGAD states believe that member states should work together to develop lasting solutions to these challenges. Strategies are being reviewed during a two-day engagement in Entebbe.
