Tax regime a disincentive to hotel industry
Just one of the very few direct benefits the hotel industry enjoys from the government, in the form of tax concessions remains out of reach at least for local investors according to the hoteliers association. They believe the threshold could better serve Ugandans if it's lowered to USD 4 Million from highs of USD 8 million today.
