Post bank certified, now a full commercial bank
Bank of Uganda has offered Post Bank a tier 1 licence, making it a fully fledged commercial bank starting December 2021. The bank, as mandated by the law, shall no longer be categorised as a credit institution but as a deposit taking financial institution that gives loans for the purposes of consumption and investment to make profit.
