Commodity markets in Africa are expected to remain volatile in the coming months following the persistence of Covid-19 constraints in the supply chain and other global economic pressures, this on the back of a coffee price surge and shifting power along commodity supply chains, which according to experts have left commodity-dependent countries grappling with the twin problems of low returns and high risk.
