Netball federation holds elections to renew its leadership
Sarah Babirye Kityo has today won the Uganda Netball Federation presidency with 184 votes. Babirye defeated opponents Jocelyn Ucanda and Christine Nampijja, who have garnered 41 and five votes respectively. Babirye will be assisted by Brigadier Flavia Byekwaso and Richard Muhumuza as Vice President administration and technical respectively. Babirye and her cabinet will be at the helm of the netball federation for the next four years. Babirye has replaced Susan Anek who has been president for three terms.
