Ivan Ssentongo wins National Scrabble Championship
2019 Champion National Scrabble Championship Ivan Sentongo has emerged as the winner at the National Scrabble Championship. The championship, which ran from April 23 to 24th, attracted over 54 Scrabble players from Jinja, Busia, Kenya, Gulu, Kitgum, Arua, Lira, Mbale and Kampala; who participated in 18 rounds. During the two days National Scrabble Championship hosted by Gulu Scrabble Association in Gulu City, Sentogo won 17 games out of 18 games he played. In 2017, Uganda emerged third at the World Scrabble Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.
