UTB asks hotel owners to meet new requirements
A section of guest house owners under the Kampala Metropolitan Inn Owners' Co-operative Society have protested against what they see as unfair standard requirements by the Uganda Tourism Board. However, the board insists that they are operating under the Uganda Tourism Act 2008 and that no new requirements have been introduced. As JULIET NALWOGA reports, the UTB is keen for higher hospitality standards.
