Parliament in sharp divide on Sexual Offenses Bill clauses
Parliament is divided on some of the clauses in the Sexual Offenses Bill currently being processed by the Committee of the House. There is a sharp contrast between the female and male legislators on a clause of withdrawal of consent during sexual acts, sexual harassment and indecent communication. However the House is in agreement on clauses criminalising homosexuality, rape and aggravated rape, defilement and aggravated defilement among others.
