NMG launches breast cancer awareness run to promote screening
As Uganda joins the rest of the world in commemorating Cancer Month this September, Nation Media Group has partnered with ERIC Cancer Institute, Her Working Women, the First Lady’s Office, Uganda Cancer Society, and other organizations for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Run. This campaign will highlight the importance of routine screening, early treatment, and the overall fight against cancer in the country. The Breast Cancer Run, scheduled for October 20, 2024, aims to raise funds for breast cancer screening, promote early detection, and provide support for affected individuals in the fight against cancer.
