Mbale-Tororo road cut off for hours, floods clear gardens
Logs and huge rocks carried by water from Nashibiso river caused flooding on the Mbale-Tororo Road, blocking culverts and causing a huge traffic jam for three hours. Between midday and 3pm many motorists parked at the side of the road waiting for the water to subside. Meanwhile, a storm has hit Buyanga and Busitema sub counties in Busia district, leaving a trail of destruction.
