Kitgum farmers grapple with elephant threat
How do we keep stray elephants away from the communities? That is the question local leaders in Kitgum are grappling with as the animals ravage crop gardens in the district. Recently, a group of more than 40 elephants invaded in Orom sub-county in Kitgum as farmers started the harvest. The elephants are suspected to be from Kidepo valley national park.
