Kassanjje residents urge govt to fast-track compensation
Residents of Kassanjje are urging the government to fast-track compensation for land intended for an industrial park by the Free Zones and Export Promotions Authorities. More than 100 families have been affected and barred from developing their land due to delayed compensation, stalling a major agro-export project. Officials met with locals to address acquisition concerns and inspected a new export facility at the airport.
