Security officials and journalists agree to work together
As the country prepares for the upcoming political season, there have been reports of journalists being brutalised by security forces across the country. In response to these challenges, security officials in the Rwenzori Sub-region have begun engaging with journalists to promote collaboration for the smooth delivery of services during the election season. The first meeting held at Fort Breeze brought together information officers and internal security officers from various districts in the Rwenzori Sub-region.
