On Wednesday, the Deputy speaker of parliament Anita Among said she was tired of counselling women who bring their complaints to her about members of parliament who have abandoned their parental responsibilities. Among also warned that if it doesn’t stop then she would mention names. Chairperson of the Uganda Women Parliamentary Association Sarah Opendi says the problem is huge but they continue to engage the MPs about their roles.
