Uganda-USA: US cuts Ugandan visa validity to 3 months
The United States of America has reduced the validity of non-immigrant visas for Ugandans to three months with a single entry, a major reduction from the previous two-year maximum validity. William Popp, the US ambassador to Uganda, says the new development is in line with President Donald Trump's Executive Order issued in January 2025, which aims to protect the United States from foreign security and other national security and public safety threats.
