FDC Katonga officials head to court over resolutions
Erias Lukwago, the interim president of the Forum for Democratic Change, Katonga Road faction says he has convened a NEC meeting this Thursday to come up with a road map for elections of party structures. Lukwago says they have issued notice to banks to annul signatures of the Najjanankumbi faction leaders like Nandala Mafabi, the secretary general and Geoffrey Ekanya, the party treasurer. He says the Katonga group has today morning filed a civil suit against Toterebuka Bamwenda for holding out as the Electoral Commission boss of FDC and usurping powers of chairperson Wasswa Birigwa to call a delegates conference slated for October 6th.
