Equal Opportunities Commission calls for wider internet access
The Equal Opportunities Commission has urged the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance to prioritize the distribution of fiber optic cables, especially to rural areas to ease accessibility to information. Nalule said there should be inclusivity in access to information irrespective of the locality. She spoke at the celebration of the International Day of access to Information whose theme is focused on the importance of online space.
