DPP launches guidelines to be used by prosecutors
The Director of Public Prosecutions has launched new standard operating procedures for investigating and prosecuting trafficking in persons cases in Uganda. These guidelines aim to improve investigations and increase convictions. Lady Justice Jane Frances Abodo emphasized that the guidelines will help investigators identify trafficked victims and provide the necessary assistance during and after court processes.
